As a graduate student, I was a teacher’s assistant for an environmental science course, where I helped students with projects, assignments, and labs. This experience strengthened my ability to effectively share knowledge with others, an ability I use as I assist students on their educational paths. I’ve since spent many hours tutoring students in high school, AP, and college biology classes, as well as educating people in multiple job roles in the biology and ecology fields.

Most recently, I worked as a Regional Assistant Biologist for the New York State Office of Parks, where I interacted with the public and led informational tours that supported people in deepening their connection with the natural world.
